How we operate

For dog and cat adoptions, it is essential that all members of your family agree and are ready to adopt. Discuss it before coming to meet our animals. This is why we require all family members to take part in the selection process. If you have children, they must meet the desired animal before the adoption. No animal from our SPA will be adopted for the purpose of being given as a gift.

Once you have made your choice, you may take the time to get to know the animal at our facility.

Adoption forms for dogs are mandatory.

Adoption hours:
Cat: Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dogs: By appointment only.

Cat adoption

All cats have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. In addition, upon arrival they received core vaccinations and a rabies vaccine (from 4 months of age), as well as a preventive dewormer. Cats available for adoption are strays or voluntary surrenders. We create a profile for each cat to ensure we find them a family suited to their needs.

Adoption fee of $300, and $175 for a Golden Paw cat (8 years and over). Four weeks of Trupanion insurance included.

Dog adoption

All dogs have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. In addition, upon arrival they received core vaccinations and a rabies vaccine (from 4 months of age), as well as a preventive dewormer. Dogs available for adoption are strays or voluntary surrenders. We create a profile for each dog to ensure we find them a family suited to their needs.

Adoption fee of $500 per dog, $600 for puppies, and $350 for Golden Paw dogs (8 years and over). Four weeks of Trupanion insurance included.

Members of the SPA team carry out an evaluation for all dogs available for adoption.
