Hello! My name is Bobby!

I’m a big-hearted dog who is playful, gentle, and curious. I love exploring my surroundings and discovering new scents on my walks. That said, I can be shy and fearful when meeting new people or facing unfamiliar situations. With a little time, kindness, and patience, I gain confidence and show just how much love I have to give. Extensive handling can also be challenging for me, so I do best with people who respect my pace and comfort level. To be truly happy, I’m looking for a home where I can be the only pet. I enjoy having my family’s full attention and thrive in a calm environment. A home without children will also be important to help me feel safe and ensure my need for peace and quiet is respected. I become very attached to the person who cares for me, and sometimes I find it difficult to share them. If you are a patient and understanding person who is willing to build a unique bond based on trust, I might be the loyal companion you’ve been waiting for. In return, I will offer you my devotion, affection, and many wonderful moments to share together.

Important: the steps

1. Complete the adoption form

We receive a very large number of applications. They are processed in the order received, and we try to make the best possible match based on the answers provided.

2. Our team contacts you

All applicants are contacted. It may take several weeks before we contact you. It all depends on the number of forms we receive. Our team will contact you to schedule an appointment or to let you know that the dog has been adopted.

No animal reservations, in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals with good families.

3. Visiting the shelter

The visit is an opportunity for you to meet our animals and, for our team, to assess certain aspects of your application to ensure the adoption is a success.

We ask that the entire family be present at the appointment to ensure compatibility between the dog and each family member (spouse/partner, child(ren), and other dog(s)).

If the visit is positive, we finalize the adoption on site and you go home with your new companion!
