Catbury

Adopted on 21 August 2026

Hello! My name is Catbury!

📣Humanitarian Adoption 📣 No one knows exactly what my life was like before I arrived at the shelter, but it’s clear that the last little while has been very hard on me. A kind citizen found me wandering outside with my front leg hanging painfully. She knew I needed help and brought me to the shelter right away. When the medical team examined me, they discovered that I had been carrying quite a burden. I was vomiting worms, had multiple wounds, a dislocated toe, and a severe injury to my front leg that had suffered significant trauma—possibly an old fracture. I also tested positive for FIV. At approximately 7 years old, it’s safe to say that life hasn’t always been kind to me. Through it all, everyone here says the same thing about me: I am incredibly sweet. Despite the pain and discomfort I was living with, I remained gentle, patient, and trusting. I never stopped accepting affection and kindness. After carefully assessing my condition, the medical team determined that amputating my injured leg was the best way to give me a comfortable future. And what a difference it has made! Since my surgery, I seem so much happier and more at ease. For the first time in a long time, I can simply focus on being a cat. Now, I’m ready for the next chapter of my life. I’m looking for a family who will see beyond my scars and love me for the resilient, affectionate boy that I am. A family who will give me the safety, comfort, and love that every cat deserves. My adoption fee has been reduced to $180 to help me find my forever home. If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a big heart and so much love left to give, I would love to meet you.
