Hello! My name is Francois!

I am a gentle, calm, and very affectionate dog. I love cuddles and being around people, even if I’m still a little shy at first. I just need a bit of time to feel safe and build trust… but once I do, I become an incredibly loving companion. I was found as a stray, so my past remains a mystery. Maybe I’ve gone through things that made me a bit anxious today. But what I do know is that I have so much love to give, and I dream of a kind, patient family who will help me feel secure. I’m also quite food-motivated (treats are definitely the way to my heart), and with gentle care, I’ll continue to grow and thrive every day. We receive a very large number of applications. They are processed in the order received, and we try to make the best possible match based on the answers provided.

2. Our team contacts you

All applicants are contacted. It may take several weeks before we contact you. It all depends on the number of forms we receive. Our team will contact you to schedule an appointment or to let you know that the dog has been adopted.

No animal reservations, in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals with good families.

3. Visiting the shelter

The visit is an opportunity for you to meet our animals and, for our team, to assess certain aspects of your application to ensure the adoption is a success.

We ask that the entire family be present at the appointment to ensure compatibility between the dog and each family member (spouse/partner, child(ren), and other dog(s)).

If the visit is positive, we finalize the adoption on site and you go home with your new companion!
