Hello! My name is Milou!

I am a big-hearted dog looking for a family who will love me just the way I am. Life can make me a little anxious sometimes, and I need lots of reassurance. I love being close to my humans so much that, if I could, I would ask to be carried in your arms all day long! I can also get a little jealous because when I love someone, I want all of their attention for myself. I am very food motivated, so treats and love are the best way to win my heart. One of my favorite things in the world is going for walks and exploring by your side. Being out on adventures with my person makes me feel safe and happy. Yes, I am a very affectionate and emotionally dependent dog, but behind my insecurities is an incredibly loyal companion who simply wants to be loved. With patience, kindness, and a family who will be there for me, I could become your very best friend for life.

We receive a very large number of applications. They are processed in the order received, and we try to make the best possible match based on the answers provided.

2. Our team contacts you

All applicants are contacted. It may take several weeks before we contact you. It all depends on the number of forms we receive. Our team will contact you to schedule an appointment or to let you know that the dog has been adopted.

No animal reservations, in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals with good families.

3. Visiting the shelter

The visit is an opportunity for you to meet our animals and, for our team, to assess certain aspects of your application to ensure the adoption is a success.

We ask that the entire family be present at the appointment to ensure compatibility between the dog and each family member (spouse/partner, child(ren), and other dog(s)).

If the visit is positive, we finalize the adoption on site and you go home with your new companion!
