Hello! My name is Stella!

I am a playful, gentle, and very affectionate dog. I love spending time with people, receiving cuddles, and giving plenty of love in return. Friendly and curious, I enjoy exploring new places, sniffing all the interesting scents along the way, and going on adventures with my favorite humans. I have a moderate energy level: I enjoy walks and playtime just as much as relaxing by your side on the couch. Being food-motivated, I’m always happy to work for a tasty treat, and I love learning new things. I get along well with children and could make a wonderful addition to a family. When it comes to other dogs and cats, I can be selective, so proper introductions and a thoughtful transition will help set everyone up for success. If you’re looking for a companion who is both calm and active, affectionate, gentle, and full of joy, I may be the missing piece of your family. Come meet me—I just might steal your heart!

Important: the steps

1. Complete the adoption form

We receive a very large number of applications. They are processed in the order received, and we try to make the best possible match based on the answers provided.

2. Our team contacts you

All applicants are contacted. It may take several weeks before we contact you. It all depends on the number of forms we receive. Our team will contact you to schedule an appointment or to let you know that the dog has been adopted.

No animal reservations, in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals with good families.

3. Visiting the shelter

The visit is an opportunity for you to meet our animals and, for our team, to assess certain aspects of your application to ensure the adoption is a success.

We ask that the entire family be present at the appointment to ensure compatibility between the dog and each family member (spouse/partner, child(ren), and other dog(s)).

If the visit is positive, we finalize the adoption on site and you go home with your new companion!
